Trump and Xi will talk trade at G-20 “extended meeting”

The President’s economic advisor says President Trump and Chinese President Xi will have an “extended meeting” on trade at the upcoming G-20 Conference.

National
Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow told White House reporters the two
leaders were on the phone Tuesday morning.

Kudlow
says the two leaders discussed the
importance of leveling the playing field for U.S. farmers, workers, and
businesses through a fair and reciprocal economic relationship, the need to address
structural barriers to trade with China and achieving enforceable and
verifiable trade reforms.
