Trump walks back threat to shut Mexican border

President Trump today walked back his threat to close the Mexican border but says he’s giving Mexico a one-year “warning.”

Trump told reporters at the White House if Mexico doesn’t
close the border to stop the flow of drugs and migrants into the U.S. after a
year, he would put auto tariffs in place.

The threat of a closure at the Mexican border sparked alarm
in agriculture and business which rely on the flow of goods between the
countries.
